#Hellfest lineup: 2% women

France is up next – it’s time for mighty @hellfestopenair to be put to the test this weekend! 673 men and 14 women musicians in the lineup – 2% – adds this festival to the bottom equality rates. We know you can do much better – Allons! Are any of you Dear Darkness friends in Clisson headbanging this weekend?😎

#SantaMariaSummerFest lineup: 4% women

This weekend also offered festival @smsfportugal with the same percentage rate as Sweden’s SRF – 4% – in their metal lineup of 110 men and 4 women musicians. These numbers are clearly not country related and surely something we all need to address and work on! Did you guys go to any festivals this weekend?

#DowloadFestival lineup: 4% women

Don’t worry UK! We didn’t forget about your contribution to the festival palette of the past weekend. Live Nation UK’s @downloadfest offered some really sweet acts, but a poorer gender balance in their lineup: 265 men and 11 women landing on a 4% rate of female musicians. Come on, UK – honor ALL queens!👊

#SwedenRockFestival lineup : 4% women

Today is final night for Swedish top event @swedenrockfestival presenting 321 men vs 14 women musicians in their 2017 lineup landing on a rate of 4% female performers. That’s calls for some real improvement so maybe this festival should ask the #deardarkness crew for help on creating a more equal lineup for 2018 – don’t you agree?✌️

#RockHardFestival lineup: 2% women

Past weekend also presented @rockhardfestival in Germany. Nice lineup for sure, but containing 86 males and only 2 females gives them a lineup equality rate of only 2% women. They could for sure do better next year, don’t you think? ✌️

#muskelrock lineup: 14% women

Festival season 2017 continues!

This past weekend hosted one of Sweden’s mightiest: #muskelrock. Very talented women musicians headlining, and a gender spread of 111 men and 18 women which equals 14% women in their lineup. Going in the right direction, right?💪 What festivals are you guys looking forward to this summer?

#copenhell lineup: 2% women

Festival season is here. Let’s elaborate on the lineups for this year, shall we?
First off, let’s take a look at @copenhell in Denmark. They come on strong with 183 men vs 3 women in their 2017 lineup. That’s equals a total of 2% females. Great job, guys!👌What do festival lineups look like where you live?
